Cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) is an enzyme located in the human liver. It has an important detoxification role and it catalyzes the oxidation of numerous xenobiotics. Modeling the channels leading to the active site of CYP3A4 provides a better understanding of its multispecificity.
